Massage Therapy is the assessment and treatment of the soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, ligaments, tendons and joints. It incorporates a wide variety of techniques, and hands on manipulation for the purpose of treating and preventing physical dysfunction and pain, as well as addressing stress and other disorders and conditions.

What to expect in a Massage Therapy treatment?

The Registered Massage Therapist will work with you to determine your health goals and ensure that the assessment and treatment is individually tailored to your needs. After completing a comprehensive health history, intake discussion and providing consent, the massage will include hands on manipulation, using Swedish massage techniques, stretching, hydrotherapy and remedial exercises.
